Matt first jumped onto the scene with his first release on JHB label 'Second Session' in early 2007. At 17 he was the youngest artist on the roster and looked to be one of South Africa's most promising up-and-coming talents. Now barely two years later he has expanded his musical reach releasing on labels such as Buzz Cut Records (JHB), Junky Trunk Records (CHI) and Casual Kickback (JHB) as well as remixing for artists like Jake Childs, Latenight Society, Raymond Mather and Geoff K. The young House producer was born in Brighton (UK) and moved to South Africa in late 1995. After leaving school to study sound engineering in 2005 Matt starting producing House music from his home studio in JHB. It was here where the true love for dance music manifested into audio format. Matthew Garton's unique style imediately gained support from producers and DJ's alike. Matt has received continued support from SA DJ's Pimp Sqaud, Lady Lea, Vimo as well as international's Sexual Chocolate(Junky Trunk Records), Liam Vizzle(Venga Digital) and Jason Hodges. Now, at 19 years old, Matthew is planning on making 2009 'his year', with a collection of brand new unreleased material ready to rock house clubs all around the globe 'South Africa's best kept secret' will be one to watch out for in the new year!
