Matthew Hoffman is a solo singer/songwriter/guitarist and performer based in Brisbane, Queensland.
Aged 26, Brisbane-based singer/songwriter Matthew Hoffman finds himself at the crossroads of a musical journey that has built him up a solid resume over the last five years. Matthew has forged himself into a seasoned performer, proficient with the guitar, comfortable on stage and equally capable of rocking the room with electric power chords or engaging audiences with sincerely emoted vocals and soft acoustic sounds.
Currently performing solo, Matthew is equipped with a vast repertoire of material that includes a wealth of originals and a long list of cover songs that reads like every jukebox you've ever fed a coin into. He flows between genres and styles with ease, belting out Buddy Holly tunes, Beatles numbers or tracks by Crowded House and The Smashing Pumpkins all in the same set without missing a single beat.
Matthew is now in the process of demoing material for Orphan Ann, a new recording project.
