Matthias Heimlicher is one of the most demanded studio musicians and producers in Europe. His several hundreds music productions have found wide recognition around the world. As a kid, he studied piano and flute, and learned to play guitar, bass and saxophone as well. His last solo production was also his debut album as a lead and backing singer.
He has worked with numerous worldclass musicians like Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Lukather, Simon Phillips, Abe Laboriel, Paul Jackson Jr., Neil Stubenhaus, Kirk Whalum, Dann Huff, Mike Porcaro, John Peña, Take 6, Tom Lane, Chris Kent, Carl Albrecht, Lothar Kosse, Ralf Gustke, etc. Most of these people also play on his latest solo album «Running Back To You», which is available through his website www.heimlicher.net.
