I started playing at 11 with in Kingston Upon Thames and was fortunate to grow up playing with musicians from the Big Band era of the 50 and 60's. In 1993 I started playing with the late Ken Mackintosh and other big bands in the London and Surrey.

I joined HM Royal Marines Band in 1995 where I studied with the great Don Lusher and Paul Cameron. I also toured extensively around the World and played with the BBC Concert Orchestra and The LSO and LPO string sections on many prestigious gigs.

In 2004 I left and joined the Brighton Institute of Modern Music to gain some contacts and update my playing in the pop and rock genre's.

I am now beginning to make a small mark on the pro circuit in London and around the UK.

I have worked in function swing, jazz and Big Bands including: Jazz Cannons, Swing City, Kings Of Swing, Scherwing Big Band, Surrey Jazz Orchestra, Croydon Jazz Orchestra, The Big Swing, Glenn Macnamara Band and various others.

Shows I have played for include: High School The Musical UK Tour, Copacabana, Beyond The Barricade, West Side Story, Jeckl & Hyde, Rat Pack's Back, Swing Fever Tour 05, Music Is The Hero (West End Preview), various Pantomimes and Orchestral work with Dartford Symphony Orchestra and London Banquet Ensembles.

I have recently acted a bit part in the remake of "Telstar" the story of Jo Meek, the famous record producer of the 1950's. Directed by Nick Moran from Lock Stock fame. It will be released Sept/Oct 2008.
