About Matt Irie

Bio
With styles ranging from Reggae,Acoustic, to Blues, fans are provided with a original sound from Matt Irie. Since an early age music from the islands were a big influence on Matt with the laid back vibes of a steel drum and guitar and the melodic singing. Being discovered by Ty Bru of Mightier Than The Sword Records in the summer of 06 and later signed the fall of 07. Irie has gone to record a 5 track EP that sold out within a short period of time. At the moment they are in the process of recording the full length debut album entitled "Coastal Dreaming" which will feature MTTS artist(s), and a few special guests which will be announced later. Looking at about 14 to 15 tracks with the debut release as well. Look for Matt Irie rocking stages with all kinds of artists around your area soon. With songs that will fit any mood you are in, this release will be sure to be a great party cd just in time for your spring break adventures.
