Press: "My first reaction to Matt Macaulay was that he is believable. He is able to touch you with his delivery, and it feels real. You can hear a definite stamp in his music, a certain flow that comes along with confidence as he gets into it. I think that he is gonna be something to contend with as he develops his talent and clarifies his style. Should be something to see. " Catherine L. Tully(Indie-Music.com)
"The live feel of the record bodes well for the future. Macaulay has obviously spent a lot of time on stage, and the risk-taking involved in playing confessional solo acoustic songs should bring depth to his writing and playing as both mature. For now, this is a pleasing introduction to a singer and writer who will have more to say once he stretches out beyond his influences. He avoids most of the pretensions of the singer/songwriter genre which, for a debut, is glorious." -- Mike Wood(Foxy Digitalis)
