Matthew Matheson, Brighton, UK.
House music. electro house, progressive house, funky house, whatever you want to call it, Matt's been all over it for years and his passion for all things electronic has never faltered in his 10 years of playing records.
His first exposure to the wonders of electronic music came at the ripe age of 14 through an older sibling introducing him to the music of the ever growing club scene. Since getting to grips with a set of turntables at the age of 16 he's never looked back. In a far cry from the early days of setting up his own regular nights in his local town of Brighton at the age of 18 and winning numerous DJ competitions, his style has grown and at 27, has seen him attract bookings at Venues and locations as varied as Café Alma in St Pete, Florida to Kanya on Ibiza's sunset strip. Closer to home recent bookings include the Ministry of Sound with Danny Howells and anywhere and everywhere in Brighton.
Outside of gig commitments, time is spent the studio on a range of material, immersing himself in new technologies & the internet, and checking out bands. He also has a passion for all things humanitarian and is an active member of the Young Peoples Network of the UN. http://www.una.org.uk/ypn/
If you like what you hear, you can catch him keeping things happy in room 2 @ Concorde, Brighton, alongside LTJ Bukem, Fabio & Grooverider this Easter Thursday 9th April.

Liking what you've done on a number of levels - and it's got yr trademark bass & percussion.. What's great is that you are developing your sound now and this mix fits nicely into that without dropping the MM vibe. Wicked!
