Here's info about me...I love the third person... Matt McBane is a composer whose music ranges from visceral, hard-driving rhythms to delicate, rich textures, freely and intuitively incorporating a wide array of influences including minimalism, experimentalism, European classical music, jazz, film music, arty rock, and electronic music. He is the Founder and Director of the Carlsbad Music Festival and the violinist and composer for his indie-classical band, Build. Matt has been commissioned by and worked closely with some of the country’s most exciting ensembles including the Calder Quartet, NOW Ensemble and Real Quiet, and he has received awards and grants from numerous organizations including the American Music Center; ASCAP, Meet the Composer, and the American Composer’s Forum. SUNSET TELEVISION,
the first comedy show under ten-minutes long to successfully blur the
line between found and original footage, presents episode 4: SADNESS,
seamlessly and lovingly intertwining three-legged, blind dogs,
beautiful Swedish men with glorious flowing long hair, and nude
sandwich eating, into one long emotional shower of depressing humor.
