Hey Matt, long time no see. I think the last time I ran into you was in the East Village in the late 90's, or maybe around 2001 or so. Good to see you in the virtual world. :)
I can't believe you're 42. And I'm still in my 30s. Gosh. Where ya been? I noticed that the Sopranos had a lot of Jersey Boys references this season. cute. Tell stories if you have 'em. Write a blog about that Halloween and the chewing tobacco incident.

Many people in the world think that the saxophone belongs to the horn family and are shocked to learn it is actually a woodwind instrument. I use this information to my advantage during trivia games and at cocktail parties. That is, when I'm not discussing folks who eat placenta. the end.
I'll write your About Me: [in under two minutes]
My name is Matt and I'm only half white. The other half is unknown, but some call it Korean. I grew up in the midwest mostly in that state where they wear cheese on their heads in public and think it's okay to do so. I am a saxophone player - alto, mainly, but I play all the woodwinds with skill. Afterall, I went to Harvard or Yale, I mix them up, so I'm kind of over-educated but that does not effect my musicianship. I have played professionally for a number of years here in New York. Remember, trauma is everywhere, but jazz is only in New York. Currently, I'm in the orchestra of "Jersey Boys" the Tony award-winning musical on Broadway and I've been playing on the B'way circuit for a few years now. My real passion, besides painting my toenails, is my own small jazz trio, for which I have very little time to devote to. Sadly. Also, I miss smokey jazz clubs in NY. A total thing of the last millenium.
