Greetings. I am the drummer of Primitive Graven Image and Empyreal Destroyer, with the usual chequered history including playing guitar for the pre-Akercocke 'Salem Orchid', drumming for industrial band 'Interlock' and playing guitar for one time charting indie punk band Nightnurse, amongst a host of others. I also worked for 10 years at psych/prog/freak music specialists the Freak Emporium, have helped run festivals including the late great Canterbury Fayre, been a guitar tech/roadie type and generally made a lot of noise in more places than I care to mention.

Nowadays, Im generally to be found in my own farm / out of town studio somewhere near Gerrards Cross area and working on two albums - 'I Am The Knowledge Of Death' with Empyreal Destroyer, and the as yet untitled black metal classic (just you wait!) from Primitive Graven Image - shortly to be produced by none other than the legendary Russ Russell (Dimmu Borgir and Napalm death to name just a couple!).

Guitar work is currently on hold as with the out of town space to play drums 24 hours a day, that is exactly what Im doing (well maybe not all 24..). My only neighbours are 16 horses, 2 dogs and 2 wild cats, and oddly dont seem too bothered by it all, maybe they understand black metal :) Regardless, GX Rehearsal Studios is now off the ground - if you're local and need somewhere to rehearse get in touch!

Also of late I've been perfecting some more extreme speed techniques under the watchful eye of Nick Barker of Cradle Of Filth/Dimmu Borgir/Testament fame. It is great to be working with such a legend and great drummer, and the effects are certainly coming through.

Im doing a few sessions and stuff at the moment too. If you want me to drum, guitar or bass for you feel free to ask me through here, I am however just a little bit busy at the moment...

Band biog:

2008 - Recording with Primitive Graven Image, various live shows inc. Bloodstock (UK) and Winterfest (Ireland). Studio work on as yet untitled extreme industrial project.

2007 - live dates (guitar) with Avoidance Of Doubt. On tour with Primitive Graven Image and Empyreal Destroyer

2002-2006 - Drummer for Interlock (Crisis//Reinvention Album and Skinless Remixes EP + tours)

1998-2000 - Nightnurse guitarist (Various singles (inc. 'Skirt' - UK No.11 indie chart), videos and tours)

Early-Mid '90s - Salem Orchid (pre-Akercocke band) - (Assorted demos - very underground). Live dates with the oddly monickered 'Lemon Carpet Band' (bass and clarinet - don't ask :). Studio jamming with Porcupine Tree. Too many other bands to mention...
