About me: im 32 years old and ive been djing for 16 years at various pub, and clubs throughout Victoria, ive also played in Adelaide, Hobart and even Sri Lanka, strange but true. I also am part of a crew of dj's called the melbounre techno collective, and we do monthly parties and have had a few international acts, like Mike Humphries, ignition technician, Technasia, Cave, Justin Berkovi, Kazu Kimira. The parties are fun and full of good people and good music. I have also shared the decks with some many great djs and live acts from around the world, for example, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Green Velvet, Carl Cox, Collabs, Steve Rachmad, Ben Sims, i can go on but you get the idea. I dj a few different places weekly like the lounge downstairs, Transport Bar, lucky Coq where i get to play my funky jazzy stuff. I have a show on kiss fm called mtc radio every monday, at 8pm so check that out, and im also a resident dj for the hardware corporation in melbourne. I've had a couple of highlights in my dj career, both of them at the forum theatre, I was the support for Dj Shadow, as well as the one and only Grandmaster Flash, and ive just recently played with Common at a Red bull Racing Gala party, now thats three of hip hops big names and ive gotta say they were awesome parties, and all the guys were awesome guys to meet too. Recently i have started working on live shows with master producer Viridian, we call it redboxx, it's a mix of ghetto techno, booty beats, hip hop, electro and everything in between, check out our page and have a listen, we use turntables and mpc's and efx units. i also have an alias Mike Hunt, i play quite a few gigs under this name, mike is the funky one and matt is the techno one, they're my only two personalities ive got, i think, i could cut loose though and more could come out, we just dont know, stay tuned and ill keep you posted
