About me:
If people had to describe me in a word, the most popular choice seems to be 'sarcastic'. Or even 'asshole'. Not so much the latter. Of course, everything that really describes me has already been mentioned before here.
I've been told I have a good sense of humor, and it's one I've tried to harness within my creative endeavors. I'm largely interested in cartooning, and have been running a comic strip for just over four years now, Reasons Why We Rule. It has seen varying levels of success, but back in it's prime, we were pulling in 1,000+ daily readers.
Lately, my cartooning work has been suffering, largely in part to the aquisition of my full-time job. I currently work at Premier Signs, a sign shop specializing in business signs and truck lettering. Given that I'm doing art-related work for 8+ hours a day, it's been harder and harder to come home and sit down at my art desk doing my own creative works.
I'm hoping that begins to change a bit, given that I'm working on a new comic strip project that I'm packaging together for possible newspaper syndication. If I were able to pay my own way by sitting down at a desk making wisecracks about everyday life, that'd be my own personal heaven.
