Hello, I'm Matt and, amongst other things, I photograph stuff, mainly gigs, portraits, landscapes (and the occasional Burlesque troupe). My photos have been published in numerous magazines and newspapers, some well respected ones and some less so :-). So I'm looking for bands / people out there that need some new shots done (live and studio / location). I shoot digital (although film can be arranged). I've attached a few lo res images in my gallery that change regularly. A more varied selection is carried on my website www.mattkent.co.uk where there are many more photos posted. There's also a contact page for anyone wishing to arrange a shoot. Fees are very reasonable especially for unsigned bands.
I have just held my first photographic exhibition, which was in South London and you can read a review of it here.
I write occasionally as well, but, like most writers, I try and put that off for as long as possible. If any magazines are interested I can also provide interviews / reviews and photos together in one package.
In 2002 a book I co wrote on the Who, Anyway Anyhow Anywhere was published and a softback version was republished in 2005 and more recently released in the UK as a pocket (largish pockets required) paperback. I'm currently in the process of starting two new books, which will, hopefully, see the light of day in 2009 / 10.
Anyone who's interested please feel free to get in touch. You can email me at info@mattkent.co.uk or leave me a message here.
Anyone who's interested in art work should also check out my brother's stuff (Quizz in my friends list below) at www.patkent.co.uk.

Phttt! well, Anton never got back to me and his phone goes to voicemail so that's me done for. Hope you enjoy even with restrictions! Not even sure if they will use a pic as they reviewed them in NY 2 weeks' ago and will do Reading as well...never mind, I'm still in 'holiday' mode! Give my love to the gruesome twosome! x
Yes, I sent someone 2 messages and he didn't get them! And just heard AM tonight as well. Have emailed Anton but no word. Will have to phone. Did you have to sign something? x
Yes, there were about 4 of us. I so wanted to get that shot so I asked if I could, never dreaming they'd let us in. But there were far fewer than the Friday. Didn't make much difference - Times went live on Friday and didn't tell me! so Getty got it all! shame not yours! heyho. Off on excursions this weekend then back to catching up next week. One gig at Luminaire next Friday and that's it. Suits me sir! x
Hey hey! Natalie Imbruglia mmm.. Guess who went back to shoot U2 on Saturday? ha! Thank god for Friday (even tho' I kinda got THAT shot on Sat) as the crowd in front of us were mental and you couldn't get nearly as much as we did the night before! All quiet on the eastern front now, finding the floor, going to the beach, reminding friends who I am... and you?
