SoundFarm is a 6000 sq ft full service recording studio and environment. Nestled in rural Iowa artists and musicians are encouraged to relax and enjoy their surroundings creating a inspiring work environment. Guests get to utilize the beautiful living quarters connected to the studio that consists of 4 bedrooms, sleeping 11, 2 full Bathrooms, full kitchen and dining area, and the living room sporting a 55" Plasma TV, xbox360,wireless internet, dish TV and a 42" fireplace. A 1/2 mile scenic walking path with creek are onsite. And then of course We offer a fully integrated digital and analog studio- With 24 Apogee inputs and 40 outputs to our ProTools HD3 -and the Analog 24track Studer A827 recording deck. SoundFarm commisioned a collaboration of electronics greats Brandon McHale designs & Coleman Rodgers Audio Electronics to build a custom, first of its kind switching box , custom built to sit between ProTools and the Studer analog deck . Allowing clients to utilize either recording medium at a flick of a switch or use both at the same time if you prefer!!!! The Studer Analog machine runs along ProTools all day-the options are limitless!!!!!
this is the first of its kind -the box is designed to increase workflow and options!!! mixes are done quite often from ProTools and the Analog deck at the same time!!!!
