Welcome to my first official myspace page. This site is dedicated to the two albums I put out with In Music We Trust Records. I also have a personal page (myspace.com/mistersharp), but to be honest I'm not sure how often I will check in or respond to your comments (probably very rarely or more than likely; not at all).
So, I'd like to take this moment to convey my gratitude to you for all the support you shown to me. Throughout the musical contributions I've made with The Rentals, Weezer, Tegan And Sara and my own solo music you've always been incredibly generous and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate it. Your kind words and enthusiasm mean the world to me. Thank you.
Over time, friends of mine will try and casually update the music and video player on this site just to keep things interesting. So check in once in a while and hopefully we'll have a little somethin' something for you. For now, I'm concentrating on making a new album with The Rentals.

oh matt, i want you to know that one of my favorite memories is of you putting out your cigarette to talk about the rentals with me at a tegan and sara show a couple of months ago.
I have a dream to record a track with you and Rachel some day. It will happen...just don't know when yet...thought I'd give you a heads up though...so you can be ready for the awesomeness.
I was begginning to think I was not going to be friend approval but I'm glad I it. I was pleasantly surprised you had many side projects besides Weezer and enjoyed them :)
Hey Matt, I hope all is going well. I just had my first show last night and it was a great experience! You're really lucky to be able to do this as your career. i really admire you as an artist and person. Keep doing what ur doing cause its amazing!
