| General | here is some of my art, some was commissioned and has band/show info removed, others are just personal pieces.
this is what i do.
| | Music | i like heavy guitars with old drum kits and moogs or soft brush snares and acoustic guitar or xylophones with 3-part vocal harmonies.

these are just the famous ones. i like indie rock, folk, synthpunk, electropunk, electro, electroclash, triphop, and whatever is done with authenticity and some degree of originality. radiohead is probably my favorite band and theyre rather unclassifiable. | | Movies | NETWORK. metropolis, pan's labyrinth, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, the shining, the godfather, pi, requiem for a dream, lord of war, blade runner directors cut (dont ask), a mighty wind, best in show (dont ask). lost in translation. amelie. | | Television | hah. fuck tv. | | Books | Kafka - most anything, particularly his short stories and The Castle
Ray Kurzweil - an amazing theoritician with whom i share many convictions on the nature of existence and the future, though often blindly optimistic. read Spiritual Machines or The Singularity is Near.
Plath - my soulmate; she wrote disturbing, surrealist poetry and put her head in an oven. <3
Camus - The Stranger. his philosophical texts.
