An open minded stewing of ideas and influences, fused together through guitar, bass, voice and all manner of percussion. Our influences are worn on our sleeves, but we do aim to have groove of our own to bring a little bit of light to your soul. We'd love to hear from anyone who enjoys our music!
Many artists have had their influence on the songwriting and playing of the Strange Rain, however a common love of the blues and alot of blues based rock music is the driving force behind this project. Improvisation and musical interplay within and around the structure of the music is very prevelant within the band providing live peformance audiences with a chance to be part of the moment, knowing it may not be same the next night. The recorded aspect of the music has brought a more traditional presentation of the songs.
Now is the time for 'The Strange Rain' a blend of acoustic temperaments and rhythmic fusions to bring you a fresh look on the song form and live performance.

Hi Matt. Looking forward to The Lamb. We've changed our name btw. Way too many bands already called Fusion. I don't suppose you know any drummers in the Worcester area looking for a band? We've got Chris Harvey of Drum Mechanics filling in for us at the moment so we're sticking to the dates we've got.

Hi Matt and James, I was at a gig with Becky at the Dog in Bearwood last Sunday when 'Strange Rain' came on the PA courtesy of Dale's playlist, still one of the best tracks I've heard on the local circuit, your ep is safely in my collection now! All the best for your future gigs, Jim

Less than 4 weeks to go (remember the new date!) to what is sure to be the best West Fest yet, with 15 bands on two stages giving continuous live music for almost 10 hours!
Plus lots of arts and crafts, children's entertainment, plenty of food options and beer from the Malvern Hills Brewery.
Tickets are the same price as last year: £5 adult, £3 U-18, £10 family.
