Sunderland Live 2010 fringe Festival, this Saturday 5th June outdoor at Park Lane, 12noon till 6pm. FREE.

Featuring The Whip, Little Comets, & Viva City, plus Sunderland bands Sonner, We Beat The System, Dangerous Nuns, Final Hour, Young Kills & Frills, Just For Dave.

After that, there's 'Sunderland Gig Crawl' with 8 more bands over 4 hours from 6pm to 10pm.

Pure 6-7pm: the Castells & Black Cab Casino

Gatsby 7-8pm: The Flytes & Masamune

7Even 8-9pm: Lady Godiva's Operation & Blind Visionaries

UGH! It's just that he picks the damnedest (I know it's not a word) times to take a nap. I am STARVING and I didn't plan on cooking because my dad gave us a gift certificate to go to Ruby Tuesday and we had plans to go. I tried to wake him up over an hour ago and he's still laying there. I'm moving on from annoyed to pissed off! anywayz, it went good. We got stuff for our wii. exactly. im going to see how much money i get for my b-day... which probably won't be much lol. and then i'll see where to go from there. hehhehe im excite! ethan's excited cuz we'll have the same phone. we're such dorks, i know; anyways, yeah i know exactly what u mean i need one too but yeah its the only way to move forward and hey if its true love let it go and if it comes back then ull know for sure!!! and OH I am so jealous that you got to go to Savannah! maybe i'll get to go soon too! i've been saving up my money that i've been getting from taking those survey things online. i'm up to $243 (heh, weird number, i know) so far, so i figure once i hit like a thousand, i'm goin on a va-ca, baby! do em, too! they're like soooo easy. i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:

Have you seen what's on next Wednesday?

Activities begin at 1pm at The Place, in Athenaeum St, Sunniside,
with Maximo Park’s Duncan Lloyd's 'Songwriting Masterclass'.

Jim Mawdsley, CEO of Generator and Director of The Evolution Festival
leads a 'Live Music Promoter Workshop' from 3pm.

Then, from 6pm, an A&R panel session will take place featuring reps from
1965 Records, EMI, Universal and XL Records.

The SMF AGM will directly precede the A&R session.

If your music requires attention, bring along a CD to receive
individual feedback on a first come-first served basis!!!!

Following the day’s events at The Place, The White Room in Holmeside will host
the evening’s live show, featuring
Frankie & The Heartstrings, U-U, The Wooden Spoons and Widows.
Doors open at 8pm.

Admission for all events is free but limited and subject to advance booking.
