Matty B. and the Dirty Pickles emerged from Erie, PA in mid-July of
2004. The local music scene starved for some new, hip music and the
Dirty Pickles delivered with a rebellious rockabilly revival. Influenced
by bands such as the Ramones, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Robert Johnson; the
Dirty Pickles inject a modern spin into the retro roots of American
rock. In 2008, their debut album, Picklebilly, molded mischevious fun
with carefree rock n' roll fueled by smooth bass and pulsating beats.
If the sounds of rebellion, nostalgia, and youth make your heart beat
faster then check out the Dirty Pickles for a high-energy assault. From
surf to psychobilly, the fun never ends. So get up, move your feet,
shake your hips, and let Matty B. get you moving to the beat.
