Hello Hello Hello. I am a singer/songwriter. Writing and Playing is what i like to do!! I have played lead guitar in the bands The Cellar Door Sound, Shameless Voodoo Perverts, Salt Of The Earth, Collective Force and Shield Of War.
Ive played venues such as:
Cafe De Paris (Soho), Hope and Anchor (Islington), Dublin Castle (Camden), Bull and Gate (Kentish Town), Jamm bar (Brixton), On The Rocks (Old St), Area 10 (Peckham), Dirty South (Lewisham), The Cartoon (Croydon), Inigo Bar (Clapham), The Half Moon (Herne Hill), The Foundry (Old St).
Ive been playing music live for about 5 years now, mainly Shameless Voodoo Perverts, and played all over and enjoyed all there is to enjoy! Now i compose and perform my own music.
hey, we are playing the luminaire in kilburn today(thursday), we are contacting everyone on our friends list in london hoping you can make it down, we really wana make the london part of the tour special so if you can make that would be amazing.thankyou Groanbox
Hey Lewis! How are ya my forever merry mate? I hope you're good. I hear Len has left the merry moon in your hands for the next two weeks! YAY! I'm gonna bring my djembe again and hopefully we can get a jam going and you can have a go!! See ya on tuesday xXx D
Ah yes, I've seen you at Half Moon too. I really like Skinny Love, and you're version of Mojo Pin, (one of my fave Jeff Buckley songs.)
What's the name of the song you do sometimes at Half Moon with the line: 'loving would be much better', or something like that? Meant to ask the other week.
Just been checking out your new tracks, bruv. I'll be honest, I can't remember what was up before as I normally only use this site for tracking down emo's and mentally destroying them but that's some good tracks. Particularly like Skinny Love & Shriek - which together also sound like a good night out...
(Sorry about the apostrophe in "emo's". I know it's wrong but "emos" didn't read properly...)
{03/04/09} - Needleandthread spring hop.. jamm bar, 261 brixton road, sw9 6lh.. 9pm till late.. £5 before 11pm, £6 after..
We be back.. arrh.. with a rather tasty gig..
The line up is likely to take the roof off Jamm with Speakers Corner Quartet at number one on the list. These guys have headlined the Jazz Cafe and opened for Herbie Hancock at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as working with some big names in hip hop.
In addition to this amazing headline, The Sound of Rum who are festival legends with lyricist Excentral Tempest at the helm, will also be on hand to build the vibes (Rob Da Bank is amongst there many fans). Plus Onyx Ashanti and Daisy Kelly Granger will add some serious funk and soul respectively.
In addition to the incredible live line up comes DJ support from the best around. DJ Snuff is a local hip hop legend, founder of first ‘Speakers Corner’ and then he English branch of the global hip hop movement ‘End of the Weak’. Another DJ who recently also re-launched a strand of a global network ‘Balkan Beats London’, DJ Malaka will be blending traditional folk from Eastern Europe with pounding dance music. Add Popcorn Charly and Drusus Germanicus to the line up and you have a funk fuelled, world eclectic vibe of top class music to take you into the early hours.
