DJ/Producer Matty Scoll is no stranger to the decks. The Baltimore, Maryland native has been rockin them passionately since 1996, at age 14. By the age of 19, Matty had joined with Tribe LTD records, a label founded by DJ Who?. Making his way through a small circuit Baltimore Nightclubs, Matty shared the decks with Mistress Barbara, Hipp-E & Halo, Q&K Session, Tony Knox, Jason Patrick, and Donny Burlin. After a long six months in San Diego, CA, spinning parties in the Gaslamp District for a vigorous production company, Matty found himself in Sedona, Arizona in 2002. Matty took this opportunity to perfect his craft both behind the decks and in the studio. Matty is an active part in two bands (Liquid Theory and Loud Mouth Soup), and heads his creation, Friendly Mafia, with partner Lee Greentree. You can catch Matty in many different places in the Arizona scene, inlcuding AZsessions.com, Tucson Radio KXCI, and behind the decks in many various clubs. Matty is known for his strict record selection, driving mixes, and overall presence. His greatest ally is that of anticipation when murdering dance floors coast to coast. Matty recently moved to Hollywood, CA and has graduated from the Musicians Institute for Music Business. As well he is managing DJ/Producer Jon Pegnato and co-owner of SHuSH MUSIC.
