Timothy Maurice is a Boston-based film composer and graduate of the Berklee College of Music.
Born in Maine, he began classical piano lessons at age 4. He performed solo piano pieces for his classes throughout primary and secondary schooling. At age 13, Timothy received his first 88-key MIDI keyboard for Christmas and began composing electronically. As a high school student, he performed various works of Chopin and Debussy at the Bates College Concert Hall prior to attending the college. During his time at Bates, he composed and performed a repertoire of original compositions in the style of the Romantic Era and participated in the college orchestral concerts.
In January of 2007, Timothy transferred to Berklee in Boston. In the spring of that year, he entered Berklee's 3rd Annual Film Scoring contest and placed as a finalist. Since that time, Timothy has provided original music for a variety of independent shorts (professional and student), a feature-length, a 72-hour film project, "webisodes," and incidental music for a theater production at the Boston Center of the Arts. In Spring 2009, Berklee awarded him the prestigious BMI Scholarship.
Timothy Maurice continues to welcome opportunities to provide quality music for film.

I love the video - that had to be a wonderful experience!!! Hey I saw a thing that you did music for the suitcase, that is great. Colin and I will really have to go to the premiere now :)
Hi, Tim. Thanks for the comment :) I hope things are going well for you back at Berklee. I might be picking up some general eds in NH before coming back. Are you almost finished?
