GUIDO BLOCK
This guy’s the real German deal. A singer, bassist and songwriter/producer, born in Duisburg and raised in Düsseldorf, Guido has lived in Switzerland and in Italy. He frequently records with his rock trio The Event, and has had two albums: the self-titled The Event and its followup, What’s the Matter? With the album Event III and his experimental rock project Buuuuuu, Guido learned the ropes of a producer, and has since produced his own work. He has collaborated with a number of international artists, performing in thousands of live shows and working in the studio as session player, arranger and producer. Since 2002 he has been working out of his own recording studio in Milan, The B Side Music Studio (www.bsidestudio.it ), where he produces his own projects as well as others’.
In 2004 Guido will produce the new Italian artist Sushy. He will also join Elektric Zoo (http://www.elektriczoo.com), along with rock icon Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, Alcatrazz, Anthem), on tour in Europe starting on April 17th, 2004.
Like every real German, Guido consumes a minimum of 2 liters of beer daily.

ROBERTO GUALDI
Born in Liguria, Italy, Roberto is currently one of the most active Italian drummers out there. He has recently collaborated both in the studio and live with artists such as Lucio Dalla, the Demo Morselli Big Band, Elio e le Storie, Piero Pelu, Paola Turci, Samuele Bersani, Dolcenera, The Cage, and Voodoohill. In 1997 Roberto began a steady collaboration with the famous Italian rock band, La Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM).

When I first started playing music, I was only trying to entertain myself, fooling around with the guitar in a friend’s practice room, but I fell in love with the very first note. Learning even more when I first heard the sounds of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, as well as bands like Cream, I began to discover that music was not just a hobby of mine, but a passion. Since those days, listening to the legends of a great musical era, the style for me has been the classic trio of bass, drums, and guitar.
At the young age of 40, and after a lifetime hanging back in the chorus, I discovered my destiny as a lead singer! I may not be classically trained as a lead vocalist, but my voice has its own personality, something that’s more important to me hitting every key in perfect pitch. Singing has now given me the power to put into music all the ideas that have filled my head for years.
The album, Heaven or Hell, was born from a dream; a dream that became a reality thanks to a great group of friends, from lifelong companions to famous musicians, who helped me to put together this marvelous record.
Heaven or Hell was not recorded as a commercial project, but rather as the combined interests of good friends who share the same love: Music. The musical passion within each artist on this record is the driving force behind its final success, and can be heard in every note.
