mAVERICK clothing was created by Kayla Garland in 2007 at the age of 17. mAVERICK features clothing made of 100% recycled materials for the alternative individual. All pieces are created from thrift finds such as shoes, belts, dresses, t-shirts, purses, costumes, etc… anything that has the potential to be re-created into mAVERICK. Kayla Garland finds inspiration from street fashion around the world. Kayla is currently working on expanding mAVERICK so it may be fount in boutiques around the Midwest. “I want fashion to be fun again. I want people to lose their fears in worrying what people will think if they dress differently.”
