IT HAS BEEN AWHILE SINCE WE HAVE EXCHANGED MESSAGES. DIDN'T HEAR ABOUT YOUR TRIP TO HAWAII! I HAD BEEN WAITING TO HEAR!! PFTT! HOW ARE YOU? ANYTHING NEW AND EXCITING GOING ON? I'M PLUGGING ALONG WITH MY WRITING - FRUSTRATING MOMENTS. BUT, THIS TO SHALL PASS! HAD A BEAUTIFUL RAIN STORM UP HERE IN NORTH CALI. WELL NEEDED RAIN BUT, DAMN DRASTIC! THOUGH THE VINEYARDS MAY BE EFFECTED, WE'LL SEE! HOPE YOU ARE WELL. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE A FREE MOMENT. TAKE CARE!
Hey Tom! How are things with you? Wanted to stop in and tell you I am moving up in the boat world. Next week picking up a crownline/cuddy cruiser - only 27 footer but nice and real clean. Won't use it until next season and we think I already sold the other boat -- yeah! Have a great week and drop me a line sometime.
Tom have you read The Liberal Tradition in America by Louis Hartz? It is kind of a 20th century update on Democracy in America centered on Classical Liberalism (not present era Collectivist Liberalism) in America. It is definitely a must read, and not as lengthy as de Tocqueville's analysis.
Barack Obama and Kathleen Sebelius leading healthcare reform....YIKES! America is in trouble. Hopefully Bobby Jindal is able to clean up their mess.
Keep in mind when Bobby was just 25 he was the head of Louisiana's Department of Health and Hospitals (Louisiana's largest department with over 12,000 employees). And how did young Bobby do??????
He turned DHH's $400 million budget deficit he inherited into a surplus of $220 million.
Bobby Jindal = the genuine article. Barack Obama = the superficial article.
Their records do not lie on this actuality, which is unfortunate since Obama is the actual President.
Hi Tom, I wish you a Wonderful day in the 1st of August!!!! It is your DAY!!!! It's better being early than late:-) ENJOY YOUR DAY!!!!!! I hope everything is going well with YOU! Sofia
Hi Tom! Hope all is well with you. I am sure you are enjoying your summer and boating season! It has been really nice here this week and it stinks cause I have a bum knee - plica injury. I am wearing a brace and on crutches so it puts a damper on a few things for me. I managed to get out on the boat like that on Saturday :) Got it drained yesterday and a shot -- go back on Friday and we will see if it got any better or if I need a MRI. I am having a positive thoughts! Right now I am at the beach house just taking it easy for a few days. Hope your having a great week!
