Mavin MC has been creating music and kicking freestyles since elementary. His dream of becoming a musician began when his parents bought him a karaoke machine. He fell in love with it immediately, spending many hours keeping himself and others entertained with freestyles, beatboxing, and pretend radio shows. Music has always played a major role in Mav's life. In elementary he learned to play the clarinet and trumpet, and eventually started experimenting with hip hop beats early into high school. After saving funds from his first job, he bought an MPC2000XL, and since then has been making bangers for Illuminous 3. Purchasing the MPC' was only the first of many home studio investments. He now owns his own studio, and records regularly. Currently, he's learning new production techniques, and writing new material for future projects. As far as emceeing goes, he couldn't be more comfortable with his style and voice, however, he still pushes himself to become a better artist overall.

Hey Mavin, I'm sorry I didn't make it to your show. I hope the crowd turned out blessing you with a great time. I use to get so high before getting up on stage. I could've been an amazing emcee like Desdemona but I didn't commit to practicing. Funy, but I had to reconnect with my femininity...LOL.
I am well. Just looking for a job right now and in the meantime allowing my mind to figure out what all I can do and need to do with my life experiences. I look back and laugh now at how I wanted to be an emcee. Silly.
