Max is a unique vocalist and multi instrumentalist who has been using her idiosyncratic voice both solo and collaboratively to its full capabilities for the last nine years, encompassing an album release and national touring with her previous band, 'Max and the Little Ensemble'. With every entrancing performance she takes the listener (and herself) on an intense musical journey.....
Take the last century of music, put it into a blender and out pours Isnod, a moody, molasses-smooth mélange of many a music. He has been performing solo and collaboratively for nearly nine years and in that time has done a variety of things on his musical path, including three solo albums, support for international artists, remixing tunes for a number of folk and commissions for soundscape and soundtrack work. Isnod is the soundtrack of the fall of the current roman empire.....
Though they have collaborated in the past, the last 12 months have found Max and Isnod in a fever of activity, together amassing more than an albums worth of material in a very short space of time and performing live as an engaging and powerful duo with a totally individual sound.

Hi Max it's Tom from Illustration. Finally got around to looking at your myspace (both of them). I LOVE your music! It reminds me a lot of Joanna Newsom, but still very different. I don't know if you've heard her but she's one of my favourite singers, so yeh I really like your stuff.
