About me:

Every morning I wake up on the wrong side of the bed..only because I allow my dog to sleep wherever she wants. I'm extremely serious about my career in sports medicine, it keeps me pretty busy, but I love it none the less and have worked hard to be where I am. (My HS guidence counselor pointed me toward clown college, so I feel good about what I've accomplished)

I currently spend my professional day with future NFL and NBA players....or so they think. I seriously see more bruised egos than sprains and strains! My student-athletes don't practice/play hard enough to get hurt; they seem to put a similar effort into their school work as well.

I grew up in small-town Iowa (only 1 stop light and 1 market in town) and still have some conservative "country boy" qualities: I work hard, play hard, have a sense of values, and enjoy a variety of activities, but I don't have the big truck, a pet pig, nor do I listen to redneck/backwoods country twang type music.

After high school I spent three years playing soccer full-time. There is nothing like doing what you love every day and getting paid for it. I felt the need to make substantial accomplishments off the field as well so I returned to school (injuries helped the decision). After getting a degree in sports medicine I somehow managed a degree in sport law; I did a lot of studying and exam preperation at Fatty's.

I'm living in Chicago's west suburbs, paying out the arse for a decent apartment, and have found that after leaving Iowa and living outside Chicago for the past four years, and seeing every major city in the US I'm still impressed with any building with more than 10 floors!
