About me:

It's been at LEAST two years since I had previously updated this (and will probably be two more when I do it again).

I'm currently a grad student at UCSC, studying Bioinformatics, and hoping to get my PhD before I drop out or they kick me out!

Life is good.

I grew up in Alaska, which in my opinion is probably the shittiest state to live in. Granted I've only lived in three, but so far it's been the worst!

I lived in Socorro and Albuquerque, NM for a combined total of about nine years. New Mexico is amazing and beautiful, and has great food, but I'm glad to be away. I met some amazing people while I was there, and I still talk with a few, but a lot of them seem to have fallen of the radar (either my fault or theirs).
