Bio:

There was once something called music. It wasn’t synthesized and it wasn’t the same recycled beat and hook throughout the entire record. Music used to mean something. If you think it’s still possible for music to be a meaningful enterprise, then you’re looking at the right page. Max Dvorak is a fifteen year old solo musician based around the Madison and Dane County Areas. With his slick guitar moves and meaningful, touching lyrics that will always get to at least one person in the crowd, he is a surefire bet to bring the kind of music we all miss and is so hard to find these days to the stage. Max is on a fast track these days, becoming a regular opening act at The Loft in Madison, an important tour stop for many a band that is coming through the Midwest, and that is gaining him recognition and a burgeoning spot in the local music scene. This August Max released his debut record; a four track EP entitled “The Helpers and The Helpless”. With stirring lyrics ranging from war and its effects to young love, it is a truly enlightening and refreshing taste of what could quite conceivably be the future of music. If you wish to see and hear this young phenomenon for yourself, do your best to get down for one of his shows, it is well and truly an experience not to be missed out on.
