Max moved from London to Dublin in 2005 and this year released his debut album ''In The Blood'' to widespread critical acclaim. A sell-out album launch was followed with a tour of Ireland with his three-piece band. Delivering emotional and soulful songs, Max's refreshing and original piano-led sound reminds us of Bruce Hornsby or a young Elton John, while the songs, although nodding to the likes of Tom Waits are delivered with Max's warm and bluesy Jack Johnson-esque voice.
Max also plays piano for Tom Baxter, and appears on both the recent no.1 album ‘Skybound’ and his critically acclaimed debut ‘Feather and Stone’. Max’s distinctive piano playing was a stand out feature of Baxter's first radio hit 'This Boy' in 2005.
