Diese CD entstand, als Maximilian sich mit 12 Jahren für den internationalen Yamaha Sax-Contest 2007 beworben hat. Sie wurde im Tonstudio der Musikhochschule Mannheim im Herbst 2006 aufgenommen.
Maximilian fing mit 7 Jahren (2001) an Saxophon zu spielen. Mittlerweile spielt er Sopran-, Alt- und Tenorsaxophon. Er ist insbesondere in der Klassik ausgebildet, interessiert sich aber genauso für den Jazzbereich.
Wenn er Zeit und Lust hat und das Wetter mitspielt macht er Musik auf der Straße.
Sein bisheriger musikalischer Werdegang lässt sich wie folgt zusammenfassen:

Außer der Musik interessiert sich Maximilian besonderst für die Informatik. Sein Computer nimmt die meiste Zeit in Anspruch.
Was ihn am wenigsten interessiert ist die „Schule“. Er geht jetzt in die 13. Klasse und hofft, dass er mit 15 Jahren sein „Leiden“ beenden kann und dann sein Abitur in der Tasche hat.
Neben seiner Muttersprache Deutsch verfügt Max, so nennt er sich selbst am liebsten, über gute Kenntnisse in Englisch und Spanisch. Latein und Französisch hat er an der Schule bereits abgeschlossen. Seit drei Jahren besucht er einen Chinesischkurs.
Ihn interessieren noch tausend andere Dinge für die er keine Zeit hat. Was nach der Schule kommt, weiß er noch nicht. Er sagt es ist wie: „Die Tür zu einem anderen Leben“.
Und für alle die es genau wissen wollen, Maximilian ist am 13. November 1993 geboren.

This CD was recorded, when Maximilian Baritz applied for the Yamaha International Sax Contest 2007 at the age of 12 years. It was recorded in the sound studio of the conservatory of Mannheim in autumn 2006.
Maximilian started playing the saxophone at the age of 7 years (2001). In the meantime he plays the soprano, alto and tenor sax.He is particularly skilled in classical music, but he's also interested in jazz.
When he has time and the weather's fine he also plays music on the streets.

Besides music Maximilian is especially interested in computer science. His computer claims most of his time.
What he's fewest interested is „school“.
He's actually in 13th grade and hopes that he can finish this torture named school and receive his high school diploma at the age of 15.
Besides his native language german he speaks english and spanish very well. He also finished learning latin and french in school. In addition he is visiting a local chinese course since 3 years.
He’s also interested in many many more things, but mostly he doesn’t find free time for them. At the moment Maximilian is not sure what he wants to do after finishing school....
but he sais that it is like opening a door to another life.
