All together now...I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United Heavy Metalists of America...
Without sounding too retarded, all of us at Maximum Metal have been hard music fans for years. We live and breathe heavy metal. It's in our blood and it's what we love.
Our main reasoning behind Maximum Metal is to be a comprehensive, one-stop metal news source for fellow metal fans such as ourselves. We also wanted to give personal reviews from different viewpoints, conduct interviews with indy and major metal stars and spotlight some of the lesser-known, great bands in the metal scene that we feel deserve to be recognized by the metal and mainstream community.
The first thing we wanted to do was create the ultimate news section where we could give daily updates on all the metal happenings throughout the world compiled from multiple sources. Instead of limiting ourselves to one style of metal, we cover news from labels, bands, musicians, events and every style of metal ranging from traditional to power to black to death to nu-metal. We want Maximum Metal to be the only place you need to go for the best metal news on the Net.
Along with the metal news and interviews, we'll be giving our honest opinions on new releases, demos and the occasional "classic" in our reviews section. Each review is done in a free-write format by multiple reviewers instead of by one person, so regular visitors can follow reviewers that match their own preferred styles.
If you get the urge, give us your thoughts on Maximum Metal, we want to offer something to the metal community that has given, and still gives, so much to us. This site will be constantly updated and modified. It will grow, expand and hopefully meet the maximum needs of all metal fans.

We would like to take a moment and tell you about Tunes for Teens and ask you to donate. Tunes for Teens is an organization, run by our friend Susan, that brings music, comfort and hope to terminally ill children in the Lexington, Kentucky area. By donating a couple of your cds you will be brightening the day of a young person who, sadly is very aware that they only have a limited number left. An easy thing that can make a gigantic difference! Peace! LSC
About Tunes For Teens:
If you would like to donate a CD New or gently used, A Demo CD, Any genre as long as it doesn't have a parental advisory on it or doesn't qualify for one, CD players, headphones etc, you can mail it to the address below. And we will hand delivery them to UK Childrens Hospital, Shriners Hospital, Lexington Diagnostic and any other place we can think of or that someone recommends. All donations will be kept tracked of and listed on here. Basically delivering CD's won't be anything more than taking them along with us on our many visits. Even if we only get a handful of CD's it better than anything we could do on our own. It's a great way to get your music out there and heard, ya never know who will come across your CD, its great publicity!
