A few of my favorite Barbershop quartets are Interstate Rivals, OC Times, Vocal Spectrum, and the Westminster gang. I enjoy different types of music, including Michael Tomlinson who is a local artist. Plus, most country music - Vince Gill, Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Randy Travis and Josh Turner.

About me: Let's see . . . I have many interests and do a lot of stuff in my spare time. One of my favorite activities is looking thru my Canon 40D lenses. Photography lets my creative juices flow. Accounting doesn't do that!
My husband and I met thru my bestest friend, Diana. I enjoy golfing but don't play as much as I used to.
I also have combined my astronomy hobby with photography. I've taken some fun photos of the sky, the moon and some planets (check out my slideshow/pics). I've got a lot more practice to do but so far it's fun. Oh, I am really starting to enjoy barbershop quartet music. Hey, don't call me a geek! It's just the best to listen to and hear all 4 parts to the harmony - especially GOOD harmony. I got to hear the Interstate Rivals in concert and they just rocked the house. Check out some of my friends. I think 2009 is going to rock!

Hi again Max, it's been a hectic day today! Went to Costco, Best Buy, Winco and various other places, went on a 10 mile bike ride, made pizza....one 16" sausage and one 16" Hawiian both with whole wheat crust made from freshly ground flour. whew! Just sat down and re-read your comment and gosh I'll bet your place did smell good! I have been pushing around making enchiladas recently, we only cook heavy on weekends though so it will have to wait until next week end. Tomorrow I have to bake bread, it was raining yesterday and I decided to go ahead and bake....never bake bread on a rainy day, just dosn't rise well. Yesterdays bread was so dense you could drive nails with it. Hopefuly it wont be raining tomorrow. During the week we eat fruit, salads and very very low fat whole wheat wraps as each one of us in this house is prone to weight gain. Benita (my g-friend) and I go to the gym pretty much every day except Sunday in order to keep ourselves fit and healthy. And so we can eat like animals on the weekend lol :-) As far as what have I been up to? Well mostly just home and work, during the week it seems like every day is ground hog day! lol. Have been waiting for a clear night so I can do some observing but so far no luck. Anyway, I gotta go and veg in front of the TV, probably nod off but I must rest. Thanks for all the comments! We just set it all up in the living room and it took about 2 hours and about 60 pics. The whole family came(jodie, jason and baby) to help me tackle the project of getting good pics.
I am happy to say I have stuff that will now work well in my portfolio :) I just have to narrow it down now.

If you can't find it don't worry about it I'll figure something else out. Did you say you had a cake mold as well or you just made a cake before that resembled the shape? I have a horrible memory :)
I spent ALL DAY yesterday making the invitations, but they are adorable. I'll send them out on Monday.
Ack! Just remembered - got to apply for a wedding license! I think I'll go research that now...take care!!

Today is "Tacky" day at my school so I'm dressing up in an old prom dress, sneakers with argyle socks, a jean jacket and a trucker hat. You can't say I'm not spirited! Love you!
