A few of my favorite Barbershop quartets are Interstate Rivals, OC Times, Vocal Spectrum, and the Westminster gang. I enjoy different types of music, including Michael Tomlinson who is a local artist. Plus, most country music - Vince Gill, Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Randy Travis and Josh Turner. And, my aunt and I are in love with Il Divo. Very nice music!

About me: Let's see . . . I have many interests and do a lot of stuff in my spare time. One of my favorite activities is looking thru my Canon 40D lenses.
My husband and I met thru my bestest friend, Diana. I enjoy golfing but don't play as much as I used to.
I also have combined my astronomy hobby with photography. I've taken some fun photos of the sky, the moon and some planets (check out my slideshow/pics). I've got a lot more practice to do but so far it's fun. I also really enjoy barbershop quartet music. Hey, don't call me a geek! It's just the best to listen to and hear all 4 parts to the harmony. Check out some of my friends. I think 2009 is rocking so far!

those two dresses with guns pointed at each other is this artist that just showed at the brooklyn art musuem. I thought it was interesting and the fabrics are not traditional for those dresses. I love clothes!
I was thinking about you again today! I danced and jumped around the house this morning to the Footloose soundtrack... it was fun and a good workout. The reason it made me think of you was because of that one time we blasted it on the stereo downstairs and danced ourselves silly together. IT is the best music to get pumped up with :)
Thanks Max, This really turned out good, Benita gave me a new cook book for my B-day, it's called "Cooking Light" and I have been trying some of the recipies out. This one was a make again success. Tom :)
Hi Max, it's a pretty good size tent. 16.5 X 10 ft, enough room to hold our queen airbed and have plenty of room to get dressed/change in. Also tall enough to stand up in. My rule of thumb when it comes to tents.....If I cannot stand up in it and move about without hitting my head I don't buy it. This one really fit the bill. Tom

Hi again Max, it's been a hectic day today! Went to Costco, Best Buy, Winco and various other places, went on a 10 mile bike ride, made pizza....one 16" sausage and one 16" Hawiian both with whole wheat crust made from freshly ground flour. whew! Just sat down and re-read your comment and gosh I'll bet your place did smell good! I have been pushing around making enchiladas recently, we only cook heavy on weekends though so it will have to wait until next week end. Tomorrow I have to bake bread, it was raining yesterday and I decided to go ahead and bake....never bake bread on a rainy day, just dosn't rise well. Yesterdays bread was so dense you could drive nails with it. Hopefuly it wont be raining tomorrow. During the week we eat fruit, salads and very very low fat whole wheat wraps as each one of us in this house is prone to weight gain. Benita (my g-friend) and I go to the gym pretty much every day except Sunday in order to keep ourselves fit and healthy. And so we can eat like animals on the weekend lol :-) As far as what have I been up to? Well mostly just home and work, during the week it seems like every day is ground hog day! lol. Have been waiting for a clear night so I can do some observing but so far no luck. Anyway, I gotta go and veg in front of the TV, probably nod off but I must rest. Thanks for all the comments! We just set it all up in the living room and it took about 2 hours and about 60 pics. The whole family came(jodie, jason and baby) to help me tackle the project of getting good pics.
I am happy to say I have stuff that will now work well in my portfolio :) I just have to narrow it down now.
