I started playing guitar when I was 12 years old and I never stopped. I took some lessons during these years, but I discovered that the only way that works for me is "do it by yourself". This will not make me the best guitar player on this planet, but actually I don't care. What really matters to me, when I pickup my guitar and I plug it to something, is to feel the right feeling. I doesn't matter what I play, it's just a matter of feeling. I love my guitars and I love to play them, sometime gently other times very hard: it doesn't matter how, it's just a matter of feeling. I don't care to play fast or slow, I don't care about how many notes I play: the most important thing is to find the right notes. Always. And play with other people. Always. You can and you MUST study by yourself, but if you always play by yourself, you will start to play for yourself and to put tons of videos on YouTube or MySpace. And...who cares, at the end? It's funny to share your music with other people, but the best is when you play with other people and your parts are mixed in the full economy of a tune: you're a part of it all and your goal is to play a good song, not the fastest solo on Earth. This is the way I think, this is the way I try to play. The tunes I uploaded here are just jokes. But A Crimson Skyline is actually near my personal concept of feeling: the right notes. Not the right notes for everyone, but the right notes for me. Enjoy music, enjoy life. Cheers! Max
