About me:
I hate writing about myself. I always wonder if I come off as conceited or narcissistic. Oh well, here are the facts, I guess. My name is Tom and I am a half-Korean, half-"white" guy who happens to have an identical twin brother. I used to call myself a "raver" back in the day, but those days are long gone, though I still appreciate electronic music. I actually have broad musical preferences... but if I had to choose just one style, that would be it. Um, I also used to be a major geek (anime/manga, video games, comics, etc...) but I've kind of moved on (don't get me wrong though, I still enjoy those things, I just don't let them consume my life). The only connection I have to my "old ways" is my affiliation with the anime convention Otakon, which I help run. In my spare time I like to read a good book, practice my photography (with my Nikon D70), or do whatever catches my fancy.
Let it be known that I am prone to obsessions, and my current obsession is all things Apple. I'm no Mac-zealot, but I do love their products (I have three Macs and have gone through four iPods). That leads to another piece of info about me... I have a BS in Computer Science. What it has done for me recently, I dunno, but I like to tinker with code and I plan to get involved with some Open Source software in the near future. For those interested, my language of choice is Lisp.
Anyway, that's a short intro... oh yeah, almost forgot, the chicks dig me. Yeah. Like, totally. Seriously! Where are you going? Aww...
