Max's Birthday is a three-piece indie-rock band from Gainesville, FL.
RD and Rusty met in a hot-air balloon race when RD caught Rusty trying to cheat by putting holes in competitors balloons. When RD stopped Rusty and confronted him in regards to the ethicality (or unethicality) of cheating, Rusty replied that he played drums.
RD and Rusty have been making music together ever since.
Recently, a bassist named Josh was playing so loud in his apartment that Rusty and RD could not sleep (yes, together). When Rusty and RD knocked on his door to politely curse him out, something magical happened.
The three now love to play music for free.
