Mayfest is a Bristol-wide festival dedicated to presenting a broad range of exciting and ambitious work from leading contemporary theatre-makers from the UK and beyond. We work in partnerships with key arts venues in the city and also host performances in unusual, site-specific spaces.
As well as our public programme, we strive to initiate and develop ongoing relationships with national artists and producers, and place importance on the support and development of artists making work across in the South West. We believe in a melting pot of activity that encompasses local, national and international work at various stages of development – from scratch to full production.
