May-Jun is a solo acoustic act based in Toronto, with folk, pop, indie, acoustic influences. May-Jun is currently in studio recording her demo that will be released in June and is planning currently a CD release tour.
May-Jun's interest in music was obvious by the age of 3 years old, when she started drawing pages of circles with lines and wings. When asked what the recurring motif was, she explained to her mother that she was "writing music", so the motif was her version of a musical note. Her music notes swirled over the pages and the melody flowed through her mind, and she would hum privately, by the time she could print letters, she was forming words as lyrics to her songs. Thus May-Jun's craft and passion was born. she sings about her truths, stories, opinions, and her inspirations.
Her works are appreciated for their universal quality.
