When it comes to music, it's all about human, even now, in the age of computers which we all use every day, it's still about human's work & creation. And when it comes to instruments - should it be different then?

Mayones has been building handmade quality instruments since 1982, and for all those years, their guitars & basses derived from passion and experience of people – the luthiers & the musicians. All the production is done in Gdansk (Poland, European Union) by a team of 25 luthiers and sound engineers. Mayones have been working for years with top of the Polish and international players, both on signature models and the usual endorsement basis. The company is also known for close cooperation with Hard Rock Cafe - the famous chain of restaurants. Not also they prepared the biggest guitar wall ever but for the first time in history, the neon in front of a Hard Rock Cafe restaurant is modeled after a guitar made in Poland!

Mayones instruments have always been built in a traditional luthier style. And even though things changed much since the beginning and despite using various high-tech technologies – the instruments are still truly handmade, using best selected tone-woods and world class accessories of our long-term partners: Bartolini, Aguilar, Schaller, Hipshot, Sperzel, Graph Tech, Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, and others...

During all those years Mayones have also become the biggest Polish guitars & basses manufacturer and prized with numerous awards – e.g. 4 times with the best Polish Musical Product of the year. The brand – often referred to its shorter name “Mayo” - is now represented by official distributors on several world markets and sells its gear worldwide on direct orders basis. Since 1998 the company have been regularly exhibiting at Musikmesse International Trade Fair in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), year by year adding more musical fairs & meetings to the presentation schedule, like the famous NAMM Show in Anaheim (USA), the international European Bass Days in Verona (Italy) & Viersen (Germany), and some national trade fairs in other European countries.

Has anyone told that to the two guys starting it all in their home-garage back 25 years ago, it would only sound like a dream...
