Mazarine's Interests
General
Reading (fantasy, sci-fi, crime novels), watching TV, watching movies, hanging out with friends at home or at their homes, going to cafes, going to gym, traveling the world (have been to 24 countries thus far, lived in three), French language and anything French, hanging out with my family, seeing live music and concerts. I love watching competitive ice-skating. And chocolate.

Music
Wide variety. Rock, metal, some country, some pop, reggae, rap, grunge and garage. No techno, no death metal, no disco, definitely no R&B. Bands/groups/individuals that come to mind at this moment are: David Bowie, Dave Dobbyn, CCR, Kate Bush, the Eagles, Nirvana, Metallica, 4NonBlondes, the Gathering. I love Skunk Anansie. Pink Floyd, Kat Stevens, Guns'n'Roses, Nightwish.
Movies
I like sci-fi and fantasy fiction, also fan of kung fu. Coming to mind: the Star Wars series (oldies), Bruce Lee stuff, the Terminator series (first two), the Lord of the Rings triology. Gattica. Still a fan of the Karate Kid (not the Hillary Swank one though). The Goonies! American History X was memorable, as was Saving Private Ryan. The Alien series (Sigourny Weaver). Ok, so I admit I like Dirty Dancing too.
Television
I’m kind of limited with this, coz I spend way too much time on the net to really watch TV. Fave series though is Un Dos Tres (un paso adelante) which I watched in France and isn’t broadcasted here. CSI Vegas, Star Trek, Medium. Not a fan of reality TV except singing ones. I like the idea of finding people from no where with all that talent. X files, the Simpsons, Quantum Leap, Desperate Housewives, MASH, Happy Days.
Books
In French: Bernard Weber. In English, would say Jane Austen. I also like JK Rowling and have read all the Harry Potter series in both French and English. But I read pretty much everything from Marion Keyes, Shakespeare, Wilbur Smith, Bryce Courtenay, and more recently, Dan Brown.

But 8 years are a long time, huh? Yes, I heard about the farts making a hole in the ozone layer. Cow farts are doing the same and even worse *lol* But I guess every creature contributes something in this case ;-) Hehe. Have fun! Annie
Hey :-) Sounds great! For all these reasons (less population etc) I would have never moved away from NZ *lol* And sheeps can be nice fellows... they never discuss and are so quietly. Hehe, I..m just kidding... I wish you all the best for your move and your new(/old) life :-) *hugs* Annie
Time does heal. It can also make one bitter too. ;) I'm sorry to hear you're having boy troubles. Feel free to vent anytime.
Yes, without anyone to practice with, I feel like I've forgotten half my French already. I hope I can find a way to get back to France sometime in the next year, not to live, but for an extended visit.
Hey :-) Nice to hear that :-) Have a good time and enjoy yourself :-) I..m on vacations the next weeks (Berlin, Helsinki, Stockholm and many more), so see ya soon! Greetings, Annie
Hey Sweetie! HOw are you doing? Just wanted to drop by and say "Hi" :-) And what did I see? I am on your Top-Friend-list. Wow :-) I will put you on mine too. Have a nice day, Annie
Haha, well, it's not really good or bad news - things are okay, just really busy with work and uni, eek. I'll try and post something... during the rest of the year. :-p Take care! xx
Hey ya. I'm good-I don't check Myspace very often. Hoping I can get back to Europe as soon as. Need a damn passport! Have job prospects in Bahrain too so fingers crossed and legs open. How are you?
I applied for a managerial job at a restaurant, and the GM said he'd call me today to let me know if I got that job or another one. I'm asking people to cross their fingers for me so he doesn't call me back and tell me he wants me to wait tables. Thanks for crossing 'em for me! What are you up to these days? Still in England?
Hey darl, how's it going? I haven't left you a message in a while. Work and study means my life is pretty insane at the moment, but I'm enjoying it mostly. The people in my course are generally nice, and I'm enjoying the classes. Hope all is well with you!! *hugs*
