"The charming, piano-driven pop jams these dudes belt-out employ a magnetic formula of classic tag-team harmonies, impressive chops, and just the right amount of playful Kinks-ian wit. Man, do they know how to craft a good bridge."
James Truitt, KEXP 90.3 Blog
"Even though M. Bison has a loud & proud sound that makes you want to thrash around, they also churn out some terribly pretty harmonies - it draws out yearnings in your ear's equivalent to a sweet-tooth, so much so that you'll either have weep in place or grab the nearest person and dance with them (I did a little of both)."
"The mark of a good album for me is how much I want to relisten to it, and with its happy, jangly piano’s abound and cheery backup vocals very well executed, M. Bison has created a perfect pick-me-up record I can actually imagine coming back to and listening too over again...we'll definitely have to keep our eye on these gents."
"Indeed, for many of you video game enthusaists the title M. Bison may engender nostalgic memories of your arcade button-smashing days of Street Fighter. The band, however, sound like anything but a roid-raging militant with psychic fighting powers. The soft vocals, glacé lyrics, and pleasantly arranged music pack a punch all their own which can be added to Bison's combat repertoire."

With a diverse array of influences, Seattle-based Shai PoeNt (lyricist) and Vanessa Stone (vocalist), cogitatively expand the canon of their artistic liberation. Drawn to hip-hop, jazz, rock, funk, house, and trance, the duo deliberately tease out every strand of their experiences and turns them into something others can relate to. www.thisisserel.com
It was really great to play with you guys! You put on a great set and people really dug it that came out. Maybe next time we come up to Seattle? Let us know of any available slots, and we'll see what we can do.
