I do solo gigs duo gigs, trio gigs, and now full band gigs. My duo gigs include Dave Fischer, on guitar and vocals and also George Sparacino from time to time! I also gig with Jack O'Soro on duo gigs, with Jack on the kit! My full band includes Dave Fischer again on lead guitar and vocals, Jamie Maes (my brother in law!) on bass and vocals, and "Old Tony" DePietro on drums. When we find a room that will have us, we bring in John Wadkins on keys and vocals as well. I'm lucky to have found these guys! We have a lot of fun together and I think it's infectious.
We have some new rooms coming up in 2009, and also a couple of original gigs! I'm excited, and hope people don't stop coming out and having fun with us.

I guess I'll finally add some boring stuff to this bio!! LOL! First, I truly believe that we as women should help eachother. I have recently met some really cool women in the business - truly mature (even though they are younger, older, and all other ages LOL) and talented. Now that I am able to perform in different venues, I have met more wonderful people and am able to network. I have learned over the past few years from my husband (who I also gig with once a month with his band) and other locals that if you help others in the business it definately comes back to you. Maybe not right now, but it will eventually in some shape or form. This might sound corny, etc. etc... but I believe it.
I've been singing in various bands in the Boston area for over 20 years. I just recently have been able to sing for a living, and I also teach. I quit my day job! yahoo! I do solo acoustic gigs, trio acoustic gigs, and I also gig with my husband Brian Maes and his band. I also do children's performances :]

Mb is Da S#%*+ and is a master at dodging balogny and cheese strings while juggling guiness and Jack daniels with her feet!!!!! If it's Redrock pizza, she catches it in her mouth and moves it to her belly in between vocal lines!!

Profile pic....yeah...got a new camera. Amazing how many pix I had to take to realize if I look up........the wobbly neck thing goes away. I never look down anymore.
