Badboy ‘B’ is a young talent hailing from the east coast of England, and one part of the Hierarchy consisting of DJ Baptist, Juiceman, Krafty Mc & Mc Herbalist. B has a unique style which is clear, crisp and versatile, switching between fast and slow lyrics and always complementing the DJ.
In 2007 B was given residency at Norwich’s premier Drum and Bass night, the almighty Rumble, fulfilling one of his goals. Sponsored by charge clothing, B travels up and down the country most weekends, due to being booked for events or to appear as a guest on pirate or internet radio.
B has appeared on flyers with most of the leading artists out there, working with DJ’s such as Hazard, Taxman, Original Sin, Brockie, Garry K, Simon Bassline Smith, Ray Keith Nicky Blackmarket, Die and Drumsound, Serum, Bladerunner, Subzero, Profile, and has worked b2b with artists such as Skibadee, Fearless, Fatman D, IC3, Juiceman, Rhymes, Flux, Krafty Mc, Cowboy Ranger, Blacka, Presha and Foxy.
2008 saw big achievements made by B. One of which was appearing on the Drum and Bass Awards tape pack on Ray Keith’s set. Even though he was not booked for the event, he performed alongside Juiceman and Accapello and the set was recorded. Later on in the year, he had the honour of being booked by Fatman D for the legendary Daddy Dreads memorial bash.
September 2008 saw the launch of the Badmannerz Volume 1 mix tape, mixed by DJ SLB, for which the pair have received excellent reviews. Due to this success, Volume 2 will undoubtedly be released in the not too distant future.
October 2008 saw the debut performance of Badboy B on a Random Concept stage, as he is now part of the RC Academy, formed to promote what they believe are the headline acts of the future. This followed by a booking for the up and coming stars room at Hysteria in November.
Following the achievements of 2008, 2009 started with a bang! This began in February performing at One Nation alongside SLB in the New Nation room aswell as another booking from Hysteria and two bookings from Breakin Science. With many other projects in the pipeline for the coming year, such as his first booking abroad for Random Concept in August, 2009 looks set to be Badboy B’s most successful year to date!
