THESHED is a workshop space in the heart of Dublin, off Henrietta Street/Bolton street D1.
This project has been created to give location to foreign artists resident in Ireland or in general artists working on International Issues and their unconventional approach to art and communication.
The purpose of this project is cultural exchange, and the hope is to facilitate interaction between contemporary artists from different cultures and disciplines through the “Stranger than Paradise” program (see blog), to promote diversity.
This is an independent project and an independent venue cured by McBett.
Who I'd like to meet: Artists active in Dublin in various disciplines on International Subjects or Foreigners, who are interested in working within the venue and/or to present events, or who like to present an Artist in Residence project, can be shortlisted presenting their CV/Portfolio and a proposal to:
