About me:

Once upon a time... I won the hula hooping contest at 4-H camp... I was voted most likely to fall asleep on the job by my senior peers... I won the science fair all four years in a row... I was addicted to reading Danielle Steele and Nora Roberts books..."soft porn" as one of my teachers liked to put it... I was afraid of Santa... The highlight of my days was government class and hiding from our instructor... My dad gave me a card in the fifth grade that said I was a "true leader" and that I always would be...I still have that card...and it still motivates me... Loves: God. I love worship... I love reading...John Grisham, Max Lucado, Suze Orman.... I love doing nothing with my husband...renting episodes of House...eating apple crisp...and cuddling on the couch. I love cooking...finding a new recipe...going through books...and experimenting... Sleeping...I love sleeping...not sleeping in...simply sleeping...nothing is better than crawling into bed after a long day... Laugh...giggle...chuckle...snicker...snort...whatever you like to call it...I love to do it... Puppies...big dogs...playful dogs...I like dogs... Weddings... Dancing...line dancing..."jump-up-and-down" dancing...Nyle's dancing..."in-front-of-the-mirror" dancing..."in-the-car dancing...I like dancing... Finding typos in the books or magazines that I read...it reassures me that nobody is perfect... Dislikes... People who over-use the word hate... I don't like hypocrisy...but I believe that almost everyone deals with a form of it... Spiders...bugs...creepy crawly things... Where our nation is headed... The fact that a DUI, most times, doesn't even get you jail time...I think it's attempted man slaughter... Going under water... Meat...I don't like meat...so I don't eat it anymore. Extreme Christianity...I think that some "Christians" are so caught up in labeling others into a black or white category...that as Christians...we are forgetting what's really important... The world comfortable...too many people mis-pronounce it...we should all just start saying comfy... The pill...blah...it makes me feel blah... Confessions... I like to think that I'm clever... I worry too much about what other people think...and I'm afraid that they will see me as a failure...even if I'm doing what makes me happy... I have self-esteem issues...but give the appearance of being very confident... I hate doing things if I'm not good at them...tennis...swimming...golfing... I'm a sore loser... I'm very competitive... I love watching reality TV... Life as I currently know it: I live in Poulsbo, Washington...it's very pretty...there are trees everywhere you look...it's called the evergreen state and boy is it "ever green"...ha... I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life... I can't wait to find out where Nathan and I will move to next... I love my in-laws...and realize how blessed I am to be able to use that phrase... I miss my pappa and mama... I have two sisters that I hardly talk to...it's always been like that...and I'm jealous of those that are close to their siblings...although my younger sister and I have been talking much more...
