Pete McCauley - Guitar, vocals, and harmonica
Chris Shaw:
Originally from NYC, now living in the Capitol City, Chris has an entertainment career that spans over 20 years. Thirteen of those were spent traveling the country as a professional stand-up comedian, which included several television appearances on shows such as "VH-1 Standup Spotlight", "A & E's Comedy on the Road", and "Comedy Central". He waits patiently every show for Pete to break a string so he can indulge his fantasy of being a "real" guitar player.
Pete McCauley:
Pete McCauley has been playing guitar for 22 years now, and there's no end in sight. His roots are in Western Massachusetts, where he played with the group Baba Yaga, who recently had a reunion at Pete's wedding in Whately, Massachusetts. (Pete's wife thought that was the best way to avoid having to pay a band.) It was pretty impressive, considering they had not played as a group in 14 years. In the early 90's, he was to be found busking on the cobbled streets of various European towns and playing in coffee shops and pubs, honing his skills and gathering material for a string of hard luck love songs. He has lived in the Twin Cities for twelve years now, working with numerous talented musicians in diverse projects.
Pete was a founding member and the original guitarist for Eddie Mac, with whom he spent a few years traveling the country, earning a record contract with SPV records in Germany. They produced two full-length albums for independent record label Mud Hut Productions and in 2001 won the WAMI award for best pop single ("We Brake for Hotties"). He currently plays with Snackbox and occasionally with the Eddie Mac boys, as well as with Leslie Rich and other groups around the Twin Cities (like, McCauley & Shaw).
