The Cookin’ at McCooks Summer Concert Series was an idea my late father, Dave Wyatt (aka Pops), had to bring original music from around the country as well as right here in CT, to the beautiful town beach, McCooks Park. He always enjoyed the beach and figured why not boogie there too. The events are all non-profit. The money we bring in through sponsors and donations at the gates and at the table are what keep the event alive. The proceeds from the 2007 Series went to the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation.
