McCUIN is made up of a group of guys who are devoted to the cause... Entertainment that is!
Go back to the spring of 2007, the singer Greg McCuin met a drummer named Gary Henderson on myspace who was playing in a band that was looking for a singer.
Greg then went and auditioned for the band and got the part
where he met the bass player PosX, who at the time was playing rhythm guitar.
After a few months the lead guitar player of the band decided that he wanted to go in a different direction, and wanted to part ways with Greg. After some soul searching and with heavy heart, PosX decided to split from his long time friend and leader of this band to go with Greg to start a new adventure. PosX called Greg a week after the split and asked to play with him. Then a few weeks after that Gary Henderson came on board.
Henderson knew a lead guitarist named Pat Heaton, whom he had been involved with in previous projects.
Pat came on board and PosX went back to his very comfortable role as the bass player, of which he spent several years in a previous band doing, and McCUIN was ready to go. Now it is July of 2007 and all of the guys were working hard on developing an original sound, and creating original music to hit the scene with.
After all the hard work, and after all the shows traveling around, building a dedicated fan base, the guys recorded their first full length cd.
McCUIN is now working feverishly on new material for the upcoming cd, of which our new single "Stranded" was debuted at Jester's Entertainment 2009 Love Fest at Juanita's with a very humbling, and exciting wave of praise.
McCUIN will be touring the midsouth as well as participating in special benefit shows for specific causes. Get out there and support McCUIN this year and most importantly... Lets make it a HELL of a ride! SEE YOU SOON!!
