Michael McDaniel discovered he had the uncanny ability to make people laugh while in high school by doing impressions in front of his classmates. Inevitably when given the chance to perform in front of a live audience at a school talent show, he leaped at the opportunity. Taking 1st place in that talent show gave Michael the drive and determination to further cultivate his dreams through theatrical productions, television commercials and stand-up comedic performances. He is not only a prominent force as a stand-up comic and impressionist but, he was also voted by the public on www.fm98wjlb.com as “Detroit’s Funniest Comedian”. This honor gave Michael the opportunity to showcase his talent in front of incomparable comedic talents such as Steve Wilson & Arnez J. at Detroit’s City Theater. Michael’s unmatched ability to perfect impressions has adorned him the title “The Guy Who Can do Everybody.” His most memorable impression is that of one of his favorite comedians Dave Chappelle. On Michael’s Youtube channel, (www.youtube.com/mikemacdzz), his Chappelle sketches are of his top grossing pieces. Michael has also taken his talents to the television screen. He has taken on the roles of Writer, Director and Producer of a television show called “Booyah!”. Michael is also the Producer and Host of “The Comic Box Studio Live” (www.motorcitytelevisionstudio.com). Michael’s long and short-term goals include but are not limited to the opportunity to land a spot on SNL, MAD TV and to create his own sketch comedy show for a major network. With all of Michael’s current accomplishments and those inevitably to follow, he continues to expand his abilities as a voice-over artist as well. Stay tuned!
